Shipping Policy

Domestic Machine Delivery

We offer free UK mainland shipping on all domestic Sewing Machines. We aim to have your machine dispatched same day if ordered before 12pm, delivery is usually next working day however can take up to 48 hours. Delivery will be made by APC or DPD unless the parcel is larger than their maximum size. Please note machines will not be dispatched on weekends.

Do I sign for my goods if they are damaged? If goods arrive damaged, please sign to accept but note that the goods are damaged, if you sign for the goods in ‘Good Condition’ you will not be able to process a claim.

Industrial Machine Delivery

Heavy items delivery and return policy. Please read carefully.

  1. Industrial Machines & Equipment outside of our local delivery area will be shipped on a pallet. They are not qualified for free shipping. Shipping charges for the UK Mainland is £69.00 please contact for a shipping quote if you are outside this area. Dispatch is usually within one working day. We ship via a next day pallet service, so it will be delivered the next working day after dispatch. If a specific day (Monday – Friday) is required please get in touch prior to placing your order, once dispatched this cannot be amended.

  2. Please be aware that the driver is responsible for delivering your order to your address but not taking and installing it in your house. They will take it off the truck for you and carry it to the curb. You must be prepared to carry the machine into your own property. You will also need a simple tool such as a cutting blade to unwrap and dismount the machine of the pallet.

  3. Please make sure you carefully inspect your shipment before you sign for it. By signing the delivery receipt, you automatically agree that you received it in acceptable condition. We strongly advise you to fully remove your shipment from its containers regardless of the condition of the pallet, inspect it thoroughly, and if you see any damage refuse the shipment. This is very important because once you have signed for your shipment it is your responsibility and if it is damaged. Please notify of any delivery discrepancies ASAP, and no later than 5 days of receiving the order. If the customer signs for the product in good condition and the product is damaged, only replacement parts can be purchased at the customer’s expense and it is the customer’s responsibility to install any replacement parts.

  4. We ship industrial machines fully built but with the machine head in the original carton and packing for safety. Once dismounted the head will need putting into the stand, and the oil to be filled to the correct level, this is simple to do with our easy to follow fitting instructions. Our team are always on hand to talk you though.

Spare Parts, Fabrics & Haberdashery Delivery

We want you to receive your goods as quickly as possible and aim to despatch within 1 – 2 days of receipt of your order if not quicker. We offer free Royal Mail Tracked 48 on all small items orders over £40.00 and free Royal Mail 24 Tracked on all small items orders over £60.00. Items that are either; larger than Royal Mails maximum parcel size, over 2KG< or are flammable/unable to be shipped without special care will be sent by courier, carriage options will be shown within the checkout. Please note goods are not be dispatched on weekends.

Horn Furniture Delivery

Most Horn Cabinets take up to 28 working days to be delivered and installed by Horn’s team of delivery drivers.
For smaller cabinets (that do not require installation), Chairs and Accessories delivery time will be up to 10 working days.

International Shipping

Due to changes and complexity for sending items abroad we have taken the decision to stop all international deliveries temporarily.

Stock Availability

We strive to keep as many products in stock as possible for immediate dispatch. However, occasionally some items may be out of stock or temporarily unavailable. When confirming your order, we will provide the most realistic delivery schedule possible and update you if any new information arises. To ensure we can keep you well-informed, we appreciate orders that include both email and telephone contact details. If your email address is entered incorrectly and no phone number is provided, we may have no way to quickly contact you in case of an issue with your order. Rest assured, we only use personal information to process orders and provide related updates. Return & Exchange Policy

Under the United Kingdoms Distance Selling Regulations, if you have received goods and have simply changed your mind about your purchase, you may return the goods to us for full credit, subject to the following conditions:

  • The item(s) is in stock condition i.e. as it was when it was delivered to you.

  • You inform us of your desire to cancel within 14 days of receipt of the product(s) in writing.

  • You pay the return delivery charges.

  • Goods are returned as soon as possible in order that your credit can be actioned within 30 days.

  • Goods are returned in a re-saleable condition and in their original packaging.

  • Goods returned opened may incur a restocking charge.

Please note that your right to return Products does not apply to products which fall into the following categories unless they are faulty:

  • Software ordered can only be credited as long as the product has not been unboxed & in original seal. We retain the right to refuse the return of open software.

  • Sewing patterns can only be credited as long as the product has not been opened or cut into. This is inline with the pattern manufacturers copyright policies.

  • Fabric will not be credited if it has been cut, laundered or changed in any way.

If goods are refused by us, because the above criteria is not met, we will return them to the customer and at the customers expense. If goods are found to be faulty, damaged in transit or sent in error, we will arrange return delivery from UK addresses.
