With the CV3440, we’ve called on our 100+ years of experience and expertise in the sewing industry, ensuring this high speed, long arm, heavy duty cover hem machine a handy and ultra-reliable addition to your sewing room.
This machine lets you achieve four main stitches: a triple cover stitch, wide cover stitch, narrow cover stitch and chain stitch. The coverstitch will appear on the bottom side of the fabric, while a top stitch will show on the top side of the fabric as you sew hems and add decorative stitching.
Its easy handling and user-friendly threading systems substantial workspace, 1-touch tension release and free arm make make hemming and topstitching fabrics a breeze.

The metal thread stand adds strength, and once threaded, it helps straighten the threads to prevent tangling.
Presser foot pressure adjuster
Easily adjust the pressure of your presser foot with the dial on the top of machine, above the needle.
Vertical needles
Vertical needles increase needle penetration while decreasing risk that needles may damage fabric.
